View PostThe Year 9 Netball team travelled to Park High School for their latest league fixture, fully aware that they would be facing a strong and determined opponent. With no time for a warm-up, the match began swiftly, and West Craven made a slightly shaky start. A few unforced errors in the first half handed Park some valuable possession, leading to scoring opportunities and a 5–2 lead at half-time. After a focused team talk, the girls returned to court with renewed energy and determination. Their second-half performance was nothing short of outstanding. The defensive duo of Frankie and Bobbie-Jane were exceptional, keeping Park from scoring a single goal in the half! Meanwhile, Emma showcased superb shooting skills, netting four impressive goals to complete a remarkable comeback. The game ended in a thrilling 6–5 victory for West Craven a testament to the team's resilience, teamwork, and fighting spirit. To top it off, Emma was deservedly named Opposition Player of the Match. Well done to all the girls for an incredible effort and a fantastic result!
